PRP / PRF

PRP / PRF

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) are the most natural ways to rejuvenate the skin. This procedure uses plasma from your own body, stimulating new cell growth and healing damaged tissue to restore youth and a healthy glow to your skin.

PRP or PRF are created by centrifuging blood samples after they are collected. Your skin is then carefully injected with PRP or PRF in the treatment areas to achieve the desired results.

In addition to PRP and PRF, microneedling can also be used to stimulate collagen production in your skin. Microneedling enables PRP or PRF to penetrate deeper layers of skin more readily through the microchannels created in the skin after microneedling. After microneedling, PRP or PRF can enhance the results.

PRP/PRF facelifts and facials help rejuvenate the skin and improve:

The PRP/PRF Facelift

PRP/PRF is injected into the face and lips during the PRP/PRF Facelift. It is a great alternative to dermal fillers. Additionally, it promotes collagen production so that the face and lips appear plumper, more toned, and more luminous.

Microglow/PRP Microneedling

Microneedling is the gold standard for natural skin rejuvenation, and PRP is applied topically while microneedling is administered. When combined, microneedling and PRP help to reveal dramatic results in skin’s texture, tone, and appearance, which reduces fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, dullness, and other textural concerns.

This treatment combination is a collagen generating powerhouse! Microneedling itself naturally stimulates the production of collagen, and PRP is rich in regenerative growth factors that amplify stem cell activity. This stem cell activity produces collagen on a new level, leaving the skin looking beautiful as the PRP continues to work overtime.

Microglow Microneedling facials typically combine the delivery of Botox, Hyaluronic Acid Filler, and PRP through microneedling. These elements can be combined or used individually depending on the patient’s goals. Depending on your specific needs and goals, you may need a series of PRP or PRF treatments to achieve the best results. If you are interested in this treatment, consider booking a consultation to explore what treatment is right for you!

PRP/PRF FAQs

Plasma Rich Plasma is the result of centrifuging blood at high speeds. In the process of separating blood into two layers, the heavier red, white, and stem cells collect at the bottom. During this time, platelets and plasma of lighter weight can be collected from the top of an anticoagulant tube.

PRP-based platelet-rich fibrin is the next generation of PRP. As a result of centrifugation at a low speed, the blood is separated into less distinct layers than PRP. It is possible to collect some of the white cells, growth factors, and stem cells, as well as platelets, from a tube without an anticoagulant additive. These additional characteristics make PRF an even more desirable product for skincare treatments.

The PRP/PRF rejuvenation procedure may be appropriate for men and women who are seeking an all-natural, minimally invasive solution to address the visible signs of aging and other skin conditions such as scarring and acne scars.

PRP and PRF treatments should result in little to no downtime. After your PRP/PRF treatment, you should be able to return to your regular routine. There may be some tenderness or tightness in the treated area, but it is temporary.
